Change a saved section

Renames a saved section and/or changes its content (fields you send replace those fields; the result is checked against the type's content_schema). A content change shows in EVERY linked placement's draft at once, on every site — live on each site's next publish.

Authentication

An API key as Authorization: Bearer or x-api-key. It needs the sites:write scope — edit draft pages and sections.

Parameters

Named placeholders go in the path; the rest in a JSON body.

saved_section_idstringPath · required: The saved section's id.1 to 100 characters
namestringBody · optional: 1 to 60 characters
contentobjectBody · optional: Top-level content fields to replace.

Response

200 with JSON on success (schema on the right). Errors use the standard envelope; a retry with the same Idempotency-Key gets the first answer back (how retries work).
